Ya Seen Surah 67
Ahmad Ali
And if We pleased We could paralyse them in their tracks, and they would not be able to move forward or turn back.
Ali Qarai
And had We wished We would have deformed them in their place; then they would neither have been able to move ahead nor to return.
Amhad Khan
And had We willed, We could have disfigured their faces while they were in their homes, therefore unable to go forward or turn back.

Did We will, We would have changed them where they were, then they could not go on, nor could they return.
Daryabadi
And if We listed, surely We should transform them in their places, so that they would be able neither to go forward nor to return

And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (into animals or lifeless objects) in their places. Then they should have been unable to go forward (move about) nor they could have turned back. [As it happened with the Jews see Verse 7:166 The Quran].

If We so willed, We would have transformed them where they were so that they would not go forward or backward.

We could have turned them into other creatures on the spot had We wanted and they would not have been able to precede or turn back.

Transliteration
Walaw nashao lamasakhnahum AAala makanatihim fama istataAAoo mudiyyan wala yarjiAAoona
Wahihuddin Khan
If it had been Our will, We could have paralysed them where they stood, so that they would not be able to go forward or turn back.
Yusuf Ali
And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (to remain) in their places; then should they have been unable to move about, nor could they have returned (after error).
